Taiwan Develops Autonomous Drone Swarms to Counter China's Military Tactics

• Taiwan's Ocean Affairs Council is developing an autonomous system for drone fleets to counter China's military tactics.
• The system allows drones to coordinate and execute missions without human intervention.
• Flight simulations involving 20 aircraft have been completed by the National Cheng Kung University.
• The next step involves flight trials over maritime areas.
• The project aims to enhance maritime surveillance and respond to 'grey-zone' activities.
