Street Fighter Movie Review: Nostalgia Falls Short in Action Film

• Street Fighter is a largely incoherent and messy adaptation of the classic game.
• The film follows a trend of disappointing video game adaptations, similar to Mortal Kombat.
• Despite recent successes like Resident Evil, hopes for quality video game films remain unfulfilled.
• The movie's reception echoes the genre's long-standing reputation issues since the early '90s.
• Fans hoped for a better reboot, but the film falls short of expectations.
