Lightning Delays DP World India Championship Opening Day

• Niklas Nørgaard leads the DP World India Championship with a six-under score after an eagle on the first hole.
• Eugenio Chacarra is close behind with a five-under-par effort, boosting his Race to Dubai prospects.
• Rory McIlroy is three shots behind Chacarra at two-under.
• A five-hour delay due to lightning interrupted the first round, preventing its completion.
• Only about half of the players completed their rounds before the delay.
