Karnataka and Uttarakhand Increase State Employees' Dearness Allowance

• Karnataka increased the DA for state government staff from 15.75% to 18% of their basic pay.
• Uttarakhand raised the DA for state employees from 60% to 63%.
• The differential amount of the DA in Uttarakhand for the period from July 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026, will be paid in cash as arrears to eligible employees.
• Both states' decisions were approved by their respective Chief Ministers.
• The changes in DA are effective immediately in both states.
