Jaxon Smith-Njigba on pace for NFL's first 2,000-yard receiving season

• Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks' receiver, is on pace for the NFL's first 2,000-yard receiving season.
• Smith-Njigba, last year's NFL Offensive Player of the Year, is averaging more catches and yards per game this season compared to last year.
• Through six games, he leads the NFL in receptions (49) and receiving yards, and is currently on track for 1,250 yards this season.
• Despite his individual success, the Seattle Seahawks have struggled as a team this season.
• If Smith-Njigba maintains his current pace, he will be the first player in NFL history to reach 2,000 receiving yards in a single season.
