ECI Announces Special Summary Revision of Voters' List in 17 States

• The Special Summary Revision is an annual process to update electoral rolls as per ECI instructions.
• This revision involves statewide house-to-house verification and detailed scrutiny of entries.
• The process is more extensive than a regular Summary Revision, which only handles new eligibles and routine corrections.
• The revision aims to ensure accurate and up-to-date voter information across the specified states and UTs.
