Mavericks Exercise Year 4 Option on Zaccharie Risacher's Contract

• The Mavericks exercised the Year 4 option on Zaccharie Risacher's contract for $17.4 million.
• This decision prevents Risacher from becoming an unrestricted free agent next summer.
• The deadline for exercising such options was moved to Monday due to October 31 falling on a Saturday.
• Risacher, the former No. 1 overall pick, was traded to the Mavericks months prior to this decision.
• The move solidifies Risacher's position with the team for the upcoming season.
