Bengaluru Bengali Community Celebrates Durga Puja at ICON Utsav 2026

• The event was held at Lodha ICON in Thanisandra and marked its fourth year.
• The festival included traditional rituals, folk dances, music, and food.
• The largest Hindu religious festival in Bangladesh went off smoothly under the new BNP government.
• Patachitra artists from Bengal were spotted at Kolkata’s Durga Puja pandals selling paintings and wares.
• The tradition of patachitra artists is caught between reinvention and the risk of losing its story.
