- Linn-Mar sophomore Caite Schaffel is nominated for KCRG-TV9 Athlete of the Week with notable times in the 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard individual medley.
- Cedar Falls sophomore Maelyn Woltz is also nominated for KCRG-TV9 Athlete of the Week with a notable time in the 200-yard event.
- Lily McFadden is the third nominee for KCRG-TV9 Athlete of the Week.
- Voting for Boys Athlete of the Week in Montgomery opens on Oct 18 and ends on Oct 22.
- The winner of the Boys Athlete of the Week will be announced on Oct 23.
